We're all huge fans of collecting things. Real crap-herders we are. What your mom considers rubbish, we regard as classy works of art. Old sneakers, toy robots, old vinyl... We've even got Pez-men by the bucketful. Did you know Pez dispensers didn't come on the market until something like thirty years after Pez was first invented? That's nuts! Who would eat those sugar pellets if they didn't come out of the mouth of a plastic Garfield?

But hey, it's not like we're some weirdos that fill their house with garbage until the haz-mat team arrives in the Outbreak suits. We collect useful things like empty film canisters, pencil shavings and rifle scopes.

It's just that Icelanders are collectors by nature. In the 1990's alone, we had a Yo-Yo fad, an addiction to basketball trading cards, and an obsession with stickers. We'll be coming back to the sticker issue later on.
